Brendan Hands joined Toulouse Olympique at the end of the 2025 summer from the Parramatta Eels and quickly showcased the full extent of his talent. Thanks to his game management, defensive work rate and accurate kicking game, he rapidly established himself within the Olympiens squad and played a key role in the club’s Championship title-winning campaign. During his first half-season in Toulouse colours, he made eight appearances and scored two tries.

In his first full season with the club in 2026, the number nine has become one of the cornerstones of Sylvain Houles’ side. The undisputed first-choice hooker, Hands ranks among the leading tacklers in Super League and is one of the most heavily relied upon players in the squad, having featured consistently in every matchday squad since the start of the season.

An experienced, hard-working and influential player, Brendan Hands is a vital part of Toulouse Olympique’s sporting project. Securing his future at the club was therefore a natural priority as the Olympiens continue their development in Super League.

“I’m really happy to be staying with the club. There’s a great culture and a strong vision being built here, and I feel like we’re creating something special that I want to be a part of for years to come.” – Brendan Hands
