UK – MATHIEU JUSSAUME SIGNS A THREE-YEAR CONTRACT EXTENSION

Toulouse Olympique is delighted to announce that home-grown second-row forward Mathieu Jussaume has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club for the next three seasons, until the end of 2029.

A key member of the squad since making his debut in 2019, Mathieu played predominantly as a centre until the 2025 season. Faced with a number of injuries within the squad, he successfully adapted his game and gradually established himself as an undisputed starter in the second row.

Since moving into the pack, Mathieu has made full use of his qualities as a tireless defender and effective attacker, playing an important role in Toulouse Olympique’s Championship title-winning campaign in 2025, which culminated in victory in York. That season marked his breakthrough in his new position. In 2026, he has continued to fulfil his potential, becoming one of the most-used players in the squad and one of the Super League’s standout second-row forwards.

Statistically, he has enjoyed the best start to a professional season of his career, recording 8 tries and 2 assists in 13 matches, including a hat-trick in the derby against the Catalans Dragons. After an outstanding first half of the season during Toulouse Olympique’s return to Super League, Mathieu Jussaume is delighted to continue his journey with his hometown club.
