Toulouse retains Hugo Garrigues until the end of 2027

Toulouse Olympique are delighted to announce that young hooker Hugo Garrigues has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2027 season.

Hugo is part of an impressive generation of homegrown talent developed by the club. After winning two French Junior Cup in a row, his progression naturally continued with Toulouse Olympique. In 2024, he joined the club’s first-team environment as a training partner, allowing him to train alongside the Super League squad while continuing his development with the club’s Super XIII side.

In 2025, Hugo made his professional debut against Featherstone before signing his first professional contract with the club shortly afterwards. He then became a full member of the Olympians’ first-team squad at the start of the 2026 season, earning the opportunity to experience Super League. It did not take long for the Lézignan-born hooker to make his mark, as he was named on the bench for the opening round away at Wakefield. At just 20 years old, Hugo made his Super League debut in a memorable victory.

This contract extension marks another important step in the young hooker’s journey and will allow him to continue his development at Toulouse Olympique following a highly promising 2026 season.
