

THOMAS LACANS EXTENDS HIS CONTRACT WITH TOULOUSE FOR A FURTHER TWO YEARS
Toulouse Olympique is delighted to announce that its 25-year-old French international half-back, Thomas Lacans, has extended his contract for the next two seasons.

After winning the French Championship title with his youth club, Lézignan, in 2021, he moved to England. He made his Championship debut in 2022 playing for Newcastle before signing for Featherstone the following season.
At the start of the 2025 season, Thomas joined Toulouse Olympique and made his debut in the best possible way with a victory over Bradford. He quickly won the trust of the coaching staff and established himself as a key part of the Olympique attack, becoming a major figure in the half-back pairing. A successful first season, capped by a Championship title won with Toulouse Olympique away at York.
In 2026, he made his Super League debut as TO returned to the topflight. He played a part in the opening-day victory away at Wakefield and was handed the number 6 shirt, a symbol of the club’s faith in him. Having scored three tries since the start of the season, including a brace recently against Leeds, he continues to develop at the highest level.
