Louis Grossemy signs for Toulouse Olympique
Toulouse Olympique is delighted to announce the signing of French international back-row forward Louis Grossemy until the end of the 2027 season.

Louis began playing rugby league in his native Australia. At the age of six, he joined the Coogee Wombats in the suburbs of Sydney. He came through the junior ranks at the South Sydney Rabbitohs before joining the Sydney Roosters at Under-16 level. He later returned to the Rabbitohs, where he represented their Under-19 and Under-21 sides. He has continued his development in the NSW Cup with the Canterbury Bulldogs.
In 2023 and 2024, Louis was also given the opportunity to feature in a pre-season fixture for the Rabbitohs’ NRL first-grade side. The experience helped build his confidence and further strengthened his ambition to establish himself at the highest level. In 2025, he earned his first call-up to the French national team for the match against Jamaica, qualifying through his French father.
Louis now embarks on a new challenge as he joins the club from the Pink City on a deal running through the next two seasons.
« It’s an opportunity to come back and play and represent my family’s heritage » – Louis Grossemy
The Toulouse Olympique coaching staff are delighted with the signing, which will add significant strength to the forward pack: « We’re delighted to have signed Louis, who will add real quality to our pack. He’s a French international and a highly athletic player who gives everything and never stops working. We’re looking forward to welcoming him to the club and getting started together. »– Sylvain Houles, Toulouse Olympique Head Coach
