A native of Marseille and a product of the Academy, Ben made his mark with TO Élite in the French Championship in 2019, before making his first appearances for the first team and then making his Super League debut in 2022 during the final match of the season at St Helens.

Fully integrated into Sylvain Houles’ squad by 2023, the Marseille-born winger made a remarkable debut in Barrow with a brace, before a shoulder injury halted his progress. He still managed to play 15 matches in 2023, but during the final against London, Benjamin fractured his hand and jaw. This kept him off the pitch, and his total number of matches played stood at 10 in 2024.

In 2025, Benjamin reached a real milestone. With 22 tries scored in 23 matches, he had an exceptional season and established himself as one of the key players in the Championship title won in York in October.

In 2026, in his first season as part of a Super League squad, Benjamin built on his stratospheric 2025 campaign. A regular starter with 23 matches played to date, he has also proved decisive in attack with 14 contributions: 8 tries and 6 assists. These performances have earned him the full confidence of the coaching staff, not only for this season but also for the next three.

“I’m really pleased to have extended my contract following this successful season in the Super League. I’m ready to give 100 per cent for the seasons to come.” – Benjamin Laguerre.
