Chan made his senior competitive debut with the Saint-Estève XIII Catalan reserves during the 2018–2019 season, whilst remaining under the regular scrutiny of the professional coaching staff. This structured progression allowed him to gradually move closer to the highest level.
After making his professional debut in the Super League in 2022 under Steve McNamara, he earned his first cap for France in 2023. That same year, he joined Toulouse Olympique on a dual-registration deal, allowing him to gain more playing time.
In 2024, he left France and signed for the prestigious Wigan Warriors. He was then loaned to Hull FC and subsequently to the Salford Red Devils, where he racked up a significant amount of playing time. After a one-month loan spell with the Catalan Dragons in 2026 and a total of 63 Super League matches under his belt, he will ultimately finish the season in the Pink City. The prop is determined to establish himself as a key member of the squad: «I’m delighted to be back in Toulouse. It’s a club I really appreciate. I was at the club in 2023 for a few matches and I have nothing but good memories. I can’t wait to pull on the Toulouse jersey again and earn my place in the team.” – Tiaki CHAN.
« We’re delighted to welcome Tiaki back after his spell at the club in 2023. He’s a player we rate highly and who will bring impact on the pitch. He plays hard, he’s explosive and he’s a competitor, so he’ll be the perfect addition to our squad.” – Sylvain HOULES, Toulouse Olympique coach.
